Casone continues to work with designers and architects of international reputation, creating installations and limited-edition objects.
From Stonescape - a fascinating landscape consisting of a spectacular series of stratigraphic dunes of Florentine Pietra Forte, designed by Kengo Kuma at the Ex-ospedale dei Bastardini di Bologna (2014) - passing through the articulated Pavilion for Marmomacc 2007- where Kuma has designed a vibrating lithic surface composed of 1500 sandstone slabs - to collaborations with Fratelli Campana, Claudio Silvestrin, and Francis Kéré, which have marked the company's participation at Fuori Salone and in many other international events.
Recently, collaborations have involved emerging and experimental designers in collectible design, in concert with established international galleries, such as SEEDS London.
The 2017 edition of Milan Design Week celebrates the collaboration with the design duo of De Allegri and Fogale. Known for their immersive installations, for Casone they have realized Mystical Solace, a dazzling interplay between opposing stones - Siena yellow and Noire Doré creating, not without ironic references, an ideal place for an urban and crowded ritual.
